Dancers will be considered for placement on our competitive teams for the upcoming season. This is an exciting opportunity to grow as a performer, train in a supportive and challenging environment, and be part of something truly special.

About Our Competition Program at Studio BE

At Studio BE, we offer a variety of competition team options designed to meet dancers where they are in their training, commitment level, and performance goals. Whether your dancer is looking for a full competitive experience or a lighter introduction to the world of competition, we have a team that fits!

Main Competition Dance Team
Our main competitive dance team is ideal for committed dancers ready to challenge themselves technically and artistically. Dancers on this team are required to attend one night of technique classes and one night dedicated to choreography each week. In addition to these core requirements, students may choose from a variety of technique classes to further their training. This team competes in three regional group competitions annually.

Audition required.

Hip Hop Team
Our Hip Hop Competition Team is perfect for dancers who want to focus solely on hip hop. This team meets once a weekand does not require participation in any additional classes. It’s a high-energy, performance-focused group that also competes in three regional competitions. Audition required.

Tap Team
Similarly, our Tap Competition Team meets once per week and focuses entirely on tap technique and performance. No additional class requirements are necessary, and this team also competes in three regional competitions.  Audition required.

Nova I & II Teams
Our Nova Teams are perfect for dancers who want to improve their technique and experience the excitement of competition without a full schedule commitment. Nova I & II meet once a week, compete in two regional dance competitions, and perform in the annual recital. This team offers focused training in a balanced format.

Pre-Comp Team
The Pre-Comp Team is ideal for students who want to explore competitive dance in a low-pressure environment. Meeting just once a week, this team offers a fun and supportive introduction to competition and performs at one local competitionin the spring. No audition is required to join.
