Studio BE Reopening Rules and Regulations due to Covid 19 - Sept 2020

The World Health Organization has declared the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) a worldwide pandemic. Due to its capacity to transmit from person-to-person through respiratory droplets, the government has set recommendations, guidelines, and some prohibitions which Performing Art Studio BE, LLC. adheres to comply.​

Class size limitations per room - NO EXCEPTIONS -We could only take a select number of students per class so registration will be on a first come first serve basis -Once classes fill up a virtual option will be available

 

Installed Air purification- UV light sanitizer system in main dance rooms

 

Touchless soaps and hand sanitizers throughout studio

 

Upon arrival students will be greeted by an administrator who will check their temperature before entering the building.

Masks to enter and exit and during instruction for group classes (Can be adjusted as needed) - plexiglass glass shields mandatory for musical theater

There will be clear signage and foot markers around the studio that reinforce:
• Social distancing protocols
• Cleaning and disinfection protocols
• Personal protection protocols (face masks, gloves)
• Employees shall stay home if sick/experiencing symptoms
• Customers shall not enter if they are experiencing symptoms 

Wait Room closed for dancers and parents (Schedule permits time for dancers to enter and exit) - Parents allowed in dance rooms for privates only.

 

Office closed - Online payments only or scheduled appointments through the office plexiglass.  

 

Students, parents, and staff must wear a face mask while entering and exiting the building.  

Students, under Ct’s recent guidelines “..are encouraged to wear face coverings when not engaged in active play. While engaged in the active play of sports or strenuous activities, athletes do not need to wear a face covering. However, athletes shall wear face masks at all other times.”

 

Instructor will wear a face mask and also adjust as needed

Doors will open to let fresh air in.

 

Teens will have the opportunity to utilize the back outdoor area in good weather for conditioning and cardio.  

*We trialed our safety measures during this years July dance camps with ages 6-18 years.  With everyone’s cooperation it was effective and very successful.
